Do My Acres Qualify?

We accept enrollment on a site-by-site basis. The most suitable acres include:

  • Soil types compatible for planting cottonwoods and mixed hardwoods
  • Good drainage following heavy rainfall
  • Clear of shrubs, grasses and other competitive weeds prior to establishment

Taking special care

As partners with each landowner, GreenTrees seeks at least a 95% survival rate and healthy growth rates. We also will provide ground technical assistance for landowners at no cost to help with determining their acres’ suitability for GreenTrees, assistance with CRP and selecting a qualified tree planter.
